It's Here..
I look forward to so many aspects of the holiday period. The hard sell some shops seem to get involved in whilst still in November is not one of them. Posted via email from Documental.ly | Comment »

Pitch Invasion
During a heated game of Hungry Hippo a stray ladybird found it’s way in amongst the action. The game had to be momentarily stopped whilst the Ladybird was nudged to safety. Luckily all the action was caught on camera. (No Ladybirds or Hippo’s were hurt in the making of this video.) Posted via email from Documental.ly | Comment »
The Calm Before The Crawl
@Minimentally can’t crawl yet. Any time now. He can still cause chaos though. He rolls, shuffles and wriggles his way around. Still, It feels like the calm before the storm. Who knows what he’ll be up to in a few weeks. Posted via email from Documental.ly | Comment »

Zoom Q3 out of the box
I got home to find @ZoomUK have sent me the Q3 to review. Feels sturdy, really well made. It would be nice if the standard def video was HD but this is just the first incarnation. I’ll check it out over the next few days and report back. Posted via email from Documental.ly | Comment »
Formula 1 & the carbon footprint
This was not an interview. It was a request for a comment from the worlds most successful British Formula One driver, Nigel Mansell. When I asked on twitter if people wanted to ask Nigel anything @Solobasssteve said.. “Ask him about the carbon footprint of Formula 1. This is what he said. Tech-no-harp
Another last minute VloMo09 blog entry.. I really wanted to play harmonica in the shower. It’s a ritual I have in all the hotel rooms I frequent. I turned my bag upside down though and with all the tech i have packed.. all the cameras, the power, the leads, the solar devices, the gps trackers and the tool.. I aparently didn’t pack my harmonica. Posted via email from...

A trip to @HappyDaysToys with @JoBucks
I popped into a shop in Olney whilst in town to meet @Jobucks.. I remember seeing the shop a year or so and was pleasantly surprised to find them on twitter. (@HappyDaysToys) They don’t seem to tweet much and I thought that a shame as they have a store full of cool stuff. I figured if i film a geeky toy i found and put it online it may entice them to get involved more. Thanks to Jo for...
Cold Mountain
It’s NaVloMo09 National (although it’s international) videobloggers month. I have somehow managed to post 14 videos over the 12 days so far. I am amazed I have managed to get this far. I am exhausted though.. With all this work and play there is not much time for rest. This video reflects my mood at the end of the day today. The end of a hard but very satisfying stint of work. I...

Old Phone, Old Solar Panel
(3808 KB) Watch on posterous This clip must have been shot a couple of years ago as I can’t remember using the Nokia E61 for a long time. The solar panel is charging the phone on a boat trip down the river Spey. Myself and a friend spent a few days paddling from the mountains to the sea and camping along the way. I still have this panel and it is still working well. It cost £25 from...
Twitter Retweets
Twitter are rolling out new features quite regularly now. I know it is mostly playing catch-up to all the different twitter apps out there forging ahead with innovations and ideas.. Still, I like the direction so far and they seem to be keeping my on the homepage. There is still so much to do though. I just hope tit’s not in preparation for some big sell off. Here’s a retweet I just...
Home is where the tech is
I have always had to have some kind of tech with me when in the outdoors. Even if it is a compass or a fancy multi-tool. It’s more than just being prepared. I could live without it but it goes a hell of a long way to making any trip or adventure more ‘comfortable’. Posted via email from Documental.ly | Comment »
Dinastia Vivanco And The The Road To RioJa
I have seen this video pop up in people’s tweets a couple of times today so i thought I would drop it into my Posterous page as well. There appears to be more wine talk than normal.. Winter must be upon us. Not that I drink any more in any particular season.. I just really enjoy a decent Red in front of an open fire with and after a hearty meal. Posted via email from...

Nonna Makes Borscht
The stew like soup, Borscht can be found all over the world. Originating in Ukraine It’s regularly found it’s way to my table having either being cooked by my Ukrainian Grandfather and now after he has passed away, his wife, my Italian Grandmother. I call her Nonna. The dish has many different variations. I enjoy all the ones she makes. If you have a chunk of black bread to hand.....
